Reporting a rate or a figure that does not match the source
This is the message we most want to receive, and the one we can act on fastest. Send it to [email protected] with the subject "Rate correction", and include:
- The page.Its address, for example https://goldratenagercoil.in/ for the rate page. Copying the link from your browser is enough.
- The figure you saw.The number as it appeared, and the date and time printed beside it. Every rate on this site carries the time it applies from: right now the latest is 25 September 2026 at 9:36 am IST.
- What it should be.The correct figure, if you know it.
- Where you saw the correct figure.A link, a screenshot, a photograph of a shop board, or the name of the publication. Without this we can only compare against the association's own page, which is what we already do.
We check the report against the source, correct the data if it is wrong, and record the correction with its date and the value it replaced. If the source itself has changed a published figure, that is kept as a correction too rather than overwritten.
What to expect
The site is run by one small publisher, and collection is run by hand; our most recent check of the source was on 25 September 2026 at 7:44 pm IST. We read every message, but we do not promise a response time, and we would rather say that than print a service promise we cannot keep. A clear rate correction with a source is normally the quickest thing for us to act on.
Other reasons to write
- Something on a guide page looks wrong. Send the page address, the statement and a supporting document or link for the correction.
- You are a jeweller. Report corrections to your showroom's address, opening hours, gold rates, making charges, wastage or exchange terms. Include the profile link and a dated price list, official page or other supporting record.
- Press, data or reuse questions. Say what you need and what you would use it for.
- Privacy questions. The same address. What the site collects is set out on the privacy page.
